Compact 5.1-channel surround sound
Anthem’s MRX SLM receiver is an excellent option for creating a surprisingly high-performance home theater without taking up a lot of space. It has a little bit of everything for a system that doesn’t include a lot of extra gear. One HDMI input and an eARC port, one optical digital connection, a 3.5mm analog stereo input, and Wi-Fi connectivity is enough to satisfy the needs of the increasingly internet-connected A/V buff. But even with the stripped-down form factor, you’ll still be able to enjoy big Dolby Atmos or DTS:X surround sound.
Please note: This receiver requires running Anthem’s acclaimed ARC Genesis calibration system on your Mac® or Windows® laptop during setup, using the included microphone and stand. It’s not the simplest process we’ve seen, but it does a wonderful job of tuning the sound to your specific room. (See our video in the image carousel above.)

This receiver offers plenty of ways to get your music going. It supports wireless streaming through Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Bluetooth, and Spotify® Connect. For top-notch stability when playing internet sources, you can make a wired Ethernet connection to your network router.
Designed for a range of custom installations
This Anthem’s design makes it possible to fit practically anywhere. Simply place it on your entertainment center or use the included wall-mount bracket to hide it behind your TV. You can even rack mount multiple MRX SLMs in an equipment closet for your whole-home system. With Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and compatibility with third-party home control systems, you have the option of 5.1 surround sound in every room of your home.

The MRX SLM includes the company’s own highly regarded ARC (Anthem Room Correction) Genesis software — one of the industry’s best room-correction platforms.
ARC Genesis measures the acoustics of your room with the included microphone, and then fine-tunes the output of your system to match the unique sonic characteristics of your space. The resulting sound is clear, smooth, and ultra-detailed, with tight bass and high-impact dynamics.
