Want an elegant-yet-robust, audiophile-grade integrated amp with built-in streaming at the center of your stereo hi-fi system? Rotel’s S14 gives you 80 watts per channel of clean Class AB power, plus easy streaming options and connections.
That means you can add your favorite pair of speakers to the S14 and you’re ready to start streaming via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You can also connect some of your favorite digital and analog sources. Either way, this amp delivers a rich, clear signal to your speakers thanks to Rotel’s high-quality design and construction.
Streaming options
This streaming amp connects to your Wi-Fi network as either an AirPlay 2 or Chromecast built-in player. That means whether you’re streaming from online music services, a USB-connected computer, or a network-attached storage drive, the S14 will show up as a playback option.
And if you’re a Spotify® Premium user, you can connect to the S14 right from the dedicated Spotify app. It will also show up in your player list if you’re using Roon.
A smooth ride for your sources
Your streaming sources and components connected to the amp’s optical or coaxial digital inputs take advantage of the built-in ESS Sabre DAC. It can handle digital audio files up to 24-bit/384kHz resolution via the PC-USB input
And an RCA aux input lets you connect an analog source. If you’re like me and tend to discover new music online then really get to know it on vinyl, the obvious choice would be a turntable with a phono preamp.
Clean power under the hood
The S14 features a beefy toroidal transformer at the heart of its thoughtfully designed circuitry and construction. That means you’ll get fast, articulate, and powerful sound with a low noise-floor and a minimum of signal distortion.
And the amplifier is stable down to 4 ohms, for driving demanding, power-hungry speakers.
